Thaipusam is the Festival for Lord Murugan, Thaipusam or Thaipoosam is a festival celebrated by the Tamil people on the Full Moon Day on Pusam Nakshatram in the Tamil Calendar Month of Thai (mid-of-January till mid-of-February).
